Since the beginning of his career, he has been instrumental in building businesses and has been credited with some of the best and pioneering initiatives in the field of rural finance and market. He was instrumental in building the largest producer company (Dairy) till date in the country during his stint in NDDB, he also played a pivotal role in the growth & expansion of Rural Micro Banking and Agribusiness vertical of ICICI Bank and has played a key role in the designing, building and expansion of the pioneering initiative of Business Correspondent (BC) led credit model in the country. He has also worked as Chief Operating Officer for VAYA (NBFC-MFI) where he was heading business, HR & Admin, Training and Operations departments and was successful in steering the company out of the most difficult phase of pandemic (Covid).

Prior to starting CFPL, he was the Business Head- Inclusive and Social Banking in YES Bank where he was heading the BC model (both credit and savings), Microfinance lending (Wholesale) and Financial Inclusion.

Bhaskar is a graduate in Economics and a post graduate in rural management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand.
